2026 Board of Directors


Shanaye La Beaud is a creative and driven professional eagerly exploring the learning and development space. She currently serves as the Head of Guest Experience at Speaking Spirit Ministries and has past HR experience as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Talent Development at Elephant Insurance. She is passionate about building strong leaders and making development opportunities available to people at all levels in their career journey. Shanaye is a graduate of VCU’s Executive MBA program (2019) and holds a SHRM-CP certification (2020). While still early in her learning and development career she also has 7 years of call center management experience. Shanaye loves to share knowledge and find unique ways to help others discover new insights.

 

Lauren PhilipCPTD has had the benefit of navigating in diverse and multicultural environments, having worked in several Caribbean islands as well as the United States.  She is the Director of Human Resources and System Initiatives at the Virginia Community College System.  As the Principal Consultant at LP Consulting, she has worked with several organizations, leading change initiatives that help business partners increase their competitive advantage by leveraging their human capital. 

Lauren holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Human Resource Management and Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and a Master’s degree in Education - Human Resource Development from Virginia Commonwealth University.

 

Jennifer Greene, M.Ed. (she/her), is an adult educator with more than 20 years of experience developing and facilitating employee training programs. She is skilled at working with a variety of professional audiences, having worked in the clinical research and automotive retail industries before joining Sentara EAP in 2021 as an Employee Education and Development Trainer.

Jennifer holds a Master of Education in Adult Learning & Workforce Education, as well as a post-Masters e-learning certificate. She has a passion for helping adult learners maximize their potential through practical exercises and collaborative learning and brings positive energy and enthusiasm to every training session she facilitates.

 

Lynnette Lemon is an Executive Advisor and Strategy & Transformation Leader with more than 20 years of experience guiding utilities, municipalities, and public‑sector organizations through modernization, organizational readiness, and customer‑centered transformation. As Principal Consultant of TLC NextGen Consulting, she partners with leaders to align people, processes, technology, and governance to strengthen performance and prepare organizations for change. 

A lifelong learner and advocate for talent development, Lynnette brings a strategic, community‑focused perspective to her role as Vice President of Professional Development for ATD Greater Richmond. She is committed to elevating programming, deepening member engagement, and supporting the growth of a modern, adaptable talent development community. 

She holds a Master of Science in Technology Management from the University of Maryland University College.
